Expanding creative skills beyond shooting, can be mind-opening especially with alternative processes.
In this workshop you will learn the cyanotype process from start to finish transforming one of your own images into a cyan blue print. This older photographic process was revived by photographers in the 1960’s. If you find you’d like to learn more about envisioning your images apart from the “usual” color exposures, this class can be an excellent way of developing your eye. Both demonstrations and individual attention will be given as participants gain knowledge in the use of materials including chemistry, digital negatives, traditional watercolor paper and application materials. Both digital and analog are acceptable format as large scale digital negatives will be produced for printing.
Join us as we re-invent old images and turn them into vibrant blue!
