Shooting on location poses many challenges.
One has to be fast and react quickly to ever changing lighting situations. One has to be able to know what to look for, how to find good light, recognize it, and capture the moment on film. We will cover various techniques of shooting models with available light, using reflectors and translucent softeners. Choices of filters. We will learn how to use portable strobes and manipulate our lighting on the subject and the background. How to improve our efficiency by working as a team on location. Bring your cameras and film and be ready to shoot (any format).
